About
About scratchoddstexas
scratchoddstexas is an independent educational project for comparing Texas scratch-off games using public information. It is meant to make public prize data, modeled estimates, retailer views, and simulation results easier to understand in one place.
What it does
The site organizes public game data, remaining prize information, modeled comparisons, retailer claim data, and paper simulations so users can explore risk and tradeoffs before making real-world choices.
What it is not
The site does not sell tickets, award anything of value, provide official odds, or represent the Texas Lottery or TDLR. Modeled results are estimates and educational simulations only.
How to read it
Official figures are separated from modeled estimates. The methodology page explains how public sources are normalized and where the model has uncertainty.
Publisher and accountability
scratchoddstexas is published and maintained by Momus Digital. The publisher is responsible for the site's original explanations, data presentation, modeling disclosures, corrections, privacy practices, and advertising implementation.
Questions and correction requests are reviewed through the contact address published on the contact page. Material corrections should be reflected in the affected page or methodology.
Editorial and update process
Official values are imported from identified public sources. Modeled values are calculated separately and labeled as estimates. Source coverage, confidence notes, and material limitations are displayed where the data is used.
Automated collection may refresh data on a schedule, but publication remains subject to source availability and validation checks. The methodology page documents the current calculation model.
